Gemma DaleyWorkout Meals Nutritionist

I am a qualified in-house nutritionist who currently develops the recipes for our amazing Workout Meals. The core of my role is creating fresh, nutritious meals that help anyone reach their health goals. I’m involved in every step; starting with creating the recipes from scratch to working with talented chefs to bring them to life on a commercial scale while ensuring the core nutritional breakdowns for each meal are met.

You will also find me appearing in our monthly Workout Meals cooking tutorials!

I routinely appear as a spokesperson for health and wellbeing with interviews on channels 7 and 9, as well as various radio interviews and newspaper contributions.

I’m not new to the health and fitness industry, I have previously worked as a personal trainer for 10+ years and competed as a fitness model while training several clients in natural body building.

But who am I outside of work?

I am 32-year-old mum of 3 beautiful kids under the age of 4.

After years in the fitness industry and being around my fair share of “fad” diets, I have been able to take all my learnings and develop my own philosophy; health and wellbeing is all about balance where results that last, take time.

I wholeheartedly believe in having a balance of fresh, nutritious food in your life and the occasional processed meals. I encourage everyone to train for movement and mental health, not just for that elusive ‘summer body’.

I have grown up in a culture where fresh food and family is everything. I am half Lebanese and my grandparents have always lived of the land where they have grown all of the veggies used in their cooking. My grandfather has passed his gardening skills onto me, and I am now passing these skills onto my kids; we have 4 large garden beds in our backyard where we grow everything from tomatoes and lettuce to strawberries and carrots.

I know there are a lot of differing voices that promote a diet with no sugar or dairy, and that is what works for them! From all my experience, I know firsthand that restricting anything in life is not sustainable nor does it make you happy. My goal is to educate people on ways to improve or maintain their health while still enjoying the things they love.

Once again, it’s all about balance!
